The first time a child hears about abuse should not be when it happens to them, or to a friend, in words no one ever gave them.
That is why we donate *Different but Equal*, a child-friendly book about gender-based violence, into primary schools. It gives learners language that fits their age: what their rights are, what a safe adult is, what to do when something feels wrong.
How the drive works
Schools receive class sets along with a short orientation for teachers, so the book becomes a conversation, not just a shelf item. Where a school hosts a **Tell Club**, the book anchors the storytelling sessions.
Bring it to your school
If you teach at, lead, or are a parent at a primary school that wants the book, [contact us](/contact). If you'd like to fund the next print run, a donation marked "BOOKS" does exactly that: [support the drive](/get-involved/donate).
